Biography
Rusty Acuña is a civil litigation attorney who helps business owners resolve complex and high-stakes disputes efficiently and effectively. With a background in the oil-and-gas industry, Rusty brings an understanding of business operations and risk, along with a results-driven approach to litigation.
Before entering private practice, Rusty served as a prosecutor with the Lubbock County District Attorney’s Office, where he developed his skills in trial advocacy, negotiation, and courtroom strategy.
Rusty’s practice focuses on representing business owners and stakeholders in matters involving contract disputes, mineral interest litigation, breach of fiduciary duty, partnership disputes, suits on sworn accounts, civil theft, conspiracy, and fraud.
