Biography
Kathryn Chandler joined the Oil and Gas section of the firm in 2026 with a focus on title and transactional work. A Midland native, Kathryn graduated from Texas Lutheran University in 2002 and Texas Tech School of Law in 2005 before returning to west Texas.
Kathryn is licensed to practice in Texas, New Mexico, and Colorado and became board certified in Oil, Gas, and Mineral Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in 2023. She has over 12 years of energy experience, including working on the Midland Basin-South operational land team for Concho Resources (now ConocoPhillips). She also has experience working in legal aid, in city government as a prosecutor, in delinquent property tax collection, and representing property associations.
Kathryn focuses her community efforts on promoting access to justice for low-income families and advocating leadership and professional opportunities for young women. She also regularly presents to land and legal professional groups in Texas and New Mexico.
